2019年10月にCISCO C841M-4X-JSEC/K9を購入して以来、IOSバージョン「15.5(3)M5」のまま利用していました。
なんとなく、OSバージョンアップをしてみたくなったので、作業ログとして残します。

以下のファームウェアダウンロードサイトにアクセスして、IOSをダウンロードします。
今回は最新版の「15.9(3)M5」をダウンロードします。
Cisco Start ユーザ サイト - ファームウェア ダウンロード
Cisco Start ルータ C841M J の Cisco IOS など、OS やコンフィグレーション ソフトウェアの最新版をダウンロードできます。

binファイルをルータにコピーする
ダウンロードした「c800m-universalk9-mz-SPA-159-3-M5.zip」を解凍すると、フォルダ内に「c800m-universalk9-mz.SPA.159-3.M5.bin」があるのでこのbinファイルをルータにコピーします。
方法は何でもいいので、今回はtftpを利用しました。
